Why Our Work Matters in Kyaka II
Forced child marriage, early pregnancy, and gender-based violence remain urgent challenges especially for girls with limited access to education or health services.
That’s why we prioritize:
• Ending GBV and forced child marriage through education and legal awareness
•Providing sexual and reproductive health education and dignity kits
•Training local peer educators and male allies to shift community norms
•Creating healing spaces for survivors
Life in a refugee camp is filled with uncertainty.
But in every challenge, there is strength.
Our goal is to unlock that strength by working with and for refugee women and girls who call Kyaka II home.
Our approach is local, personal, and sustainable.
“ Because those closest to the struggle are closest to the solution.
Our impact goes beyond survival it’s about dignity, agency, and healing.”
