Welcome to Da Vision Group: Empowering Refugee Women in Kyaka II, Uganda
Da Vision Women is a grassroots organization working in the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement in western Uganda. We empower refugee women and girls through vocational training, education, and community leadership development.
Refugees face many challenges
Our programs provide skills in tailoring, baking, hairdressing, and business training, equipping women to rebuild their lives with dignity. We also lead awareness on gender equality, mental health, and the rights of women and girls in refugee camps.
Refugee Girls and women in Kyaka ii settlement face multiple challenges that hinder their ability to rebuild their lives , Such as:
- Gender-based violence
- Forced child marriages
- Limited access to education
- Sexual abuse and exploitation
- Lack of employment opportunities
- Inadequate healthcare services
- Legal and social barriers

Our Journey of Resilience and Growth Since 2017
Through the generosity of individual donors, partnerships with like-minded organizations, and small grants, we’ve been able to sustain our work in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. Community-driven efforts, volunteer contributions, and grassroots fundraising have played a crucial role in supporting our mission.
Despite financial challenges, our resilience—and the continued support of compassionate individuals and partners—has allowed us to keep empowering refugee women in Uganda. These contributions help us run programs such as vocational training for women in refugee camps, tailoring training in refugee settlements, and girls’ education in displacement.
As we strive to expand our impact and promote gender equality in refugee communities, we welcome long-term funding partners who share our commitment to uplifting grassroots women-led organizations in Africa.
